Pedagogical portfolio, part 1 - What is a pedagogical portfolio?

In this first seminar we will introduce what a pedagogical portfolio is in a general and comprehensive way. In a later second seminar we will link the portfolio to the criteria for teaching expertise used in the appointment process.

A pedagogical portfolio, or teaching portfolio, is a compilation of your teaching qualifications. The portfolio is used for appointments of staff and promotions as a way of assessing the pedagogical competence. In this first seminar we will introduce what a pedagogical portfolio is in a general and comprehensive way. In a later second seminar we will link the portfolio to the criteria for teaching expertise used in the appointment process. Finally, a third workshop (in the autumn) you will get the opportunity to get feedback on your portfolio.

No sign up needed.

Note: This seminar will focus on appointments and promotions but not distinguished teacher ("excellent lärare") promotion. There is a special seminar series for those of you planning to apply for distinguished teacher promotion (first seminar April 26).

Welcome!
