CAD computer-aided design is a concept that includes drawing a model in the computer in 3D or 2D, and then develop the model to drawings that can be sent to a manufacturer. The benefits of CAD is that it is quick to change model and to integrate with other database applications.
Basically you can draw whatever you want in CAD and ultimately get a finished product.
The course will focus on drawing buildings in Revit and Skechup as well as obtaining 2D drawings in AutoCAD. Bring your project or come as you are and an introduction to these programs will be given.
NOTE! You should have a login to Ångtrom's computers. The Ångström visualisation lab has 3 computers to use in place. If you have the programs on your own computer, bring your own computer. This workshop will be held in swedish.
